Lets kick this blog off with, the one thing I as a designer always start at, is the logo. The logo is the one important part of product or a service of any kind that will make or break it for the business.
For the past few months i have been experimenting with animations in blender, and i decided that its time to make a animated logo for the game. For the design I went with a standard San Serif slab font, I textured the logo to have a touch of a rustic look to it, like corroded metal and i added a shader that emits bright pulsing light.
The light is a take on how the main character works or is seen, that's all i can say for now on the character. As for the corroded metal texture, it points a bit to the environments, the same is said for the dark cinematic look.
